A veteran is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America for the amount "up to and including my life."
So I extend a sincere thank you to all of the veterans who have served, currently serve, or will one day serve our fine country. Thank you and may God bless you and keep you safe.
