Treasure's testimonial
Posted by Dr. Woodbeck 2 years, 6 months ago.Treasure is a wonderful woman who doesn't stand for nonsense and demands results. I knew that if I couldn't achieve favorable results with Treasure, I would find someone who could. Thankfully, Treasure is feeling much better and now has a plan and my support to keep the pain from returning. Please take the time to read Treasure's testimonial.
When I initially consulted with Treasure, I knew I would be able to help improve her pain, especially since chiropractic has worked in the past. However, I was concerned about the cyclical nature of her pain over the last 30 years. When she would experience pain, Treasure would visit her chiropractor and soon be on the mend. But inevitably, the pain would eventually return. So my approach had to be more permanent.
Treasure works hard, often going above and beyond what is expected of her, sometimes at the expense of her comfort. The latest episode that brought Treasure to see me involved moving furniture at work, something that was not part of her job description. After taking an extensive history and performing a comprehensive exam, I had a good understanding of why Treasure was in pain and why her pain would always return after being release from care.
After adjusting Treasure a few times and getting her pain under control, we focused on stretching and strengthening exercises appropriate for her unique biomechanical challenges. I performed the stretches on Treasure in the office and taught her how to safely perform the stretches at home. We also went over how to correctly perform the strengthening exercises that corrected muscle imbalances largely responsible for the recurrence of her pain.
Treasure took an active role in her care and because of that, she now has the tools to remain pain-free even after I release her from care.
